Hauntology and religious prophesy

what are the outer limits of hauntology
is there a hauntology of religious prophesy?
been looking at this thing

which depicts a future buddha from a time when the teachings of the last buddha have been forgotten
the ability of archaic religions to conceive of the future was pretty limited
arguably the first work to make wild speculative preditions was bacon's 'new atlantis'
the advent of science, it's identification as a mover in the world, making the future distinct
arguably = as far as i'm aware :9
maybe i was being too sweeping... the history of philosophical utopias goes back further
i guess what science does is make the future a series of irreversible milestones. you can't uninvent something, but you can always reorganise society.
i guess in that regard something like new Atlantis most resembles books of prophesy, like merlins book in monmouth's 'history of the kings of britian' or the prophesies of nostrodamus
or mother shipton

How many gods are right to worship

i don't think a religion where there's an expectation to bow to 12+ gods because someone wrote a list of 12+ gods is resonant in the same way as a religion where the gods worshipped are informed by the land
My working definition of paganism is 'the human individuals religious response to their environment' .
having to manage unnecessary things of no potency is just a drag

on the abrahamic god

the abrahamic god is not even a god imo

it's popular because it embodies the universe, so invoking it gives your actions sanction by the universe, and means any who oppose whatever you are doing stand against the universe

i'd say it's both the hugest and tiniest god
by i don't think human beings can be gods :p

the idea of a universal will is at odds with the universe as experianced
polytheism has better explanatory power
