The nature of the human animal is to move toward definition

to consider yourself in pantheon (the polytheist worldview) is to step outside of society (it's desires and strictures) and to consider yourself in context of the wider world

i guess you could say it's paganism as a concern for authenticity... conjuring a weird authenticity... beyond human concerns... or on the boarderland of human concerns

What should pagans be doing

i think it's important that it relate to paganism as something that exists in time, be working toward manifesting paganisms future

well i think we are in a pivotal time for paganism... it's survived it's (re)inception... it seems like it will never be fully stamped out... it will always resurface
so there are two tasks for contemporary pagans. rebuild paganisms material culture, and work towards the shaping of what paganism will be when it is accepted as a world religio
